Great Heights is a youth group for young people aged 14 (or in Year 9 at Secondary School) and upwards.

Great Heights seeks to provide an environment within which young people can learn the relevance of the Christian faith and together ask God to teach them more about what it means to make Jesus Christ Lord of their lives.

We meet at church or in someone's home every Sunday night at 8.15 pm for Bible study and discussion. We also enjoy a variety of social events, parties, sleep-overs, weekend trips away and taking part in larger Christian events.

Trainers is a place where children in the two oldest Junior School classes and first year seniors can join in a variety of sporting activities. It is run on Christian principles of fair-play, co-operation, team-spirit, etc, and combines two energetic sessions with a quieter, thought-provoking Christian teaching slot. There is also a tuck shop. Trainers runs from 6.00 - 7.15 pm every Tuesday in term time.

Scouting is a well known organisation with around 13 million members in more than 120 countries. In this Church we have two groups meeting weekly:-

Cubs, 8 - 10 yrs, Wednesday 6.45 - 8.30 pm
Scouts, 10 - 15 yrs, Thursday 7.00 - 9.00 pm

We have been in existence since 1966 and our experienced staff, along with other helpers and students, have attended Child Care Courses over the years. We concentrate on preparation for school by learning independence and self-confidence through play experiences. We do encourage carers to join us if their child has a problem.

Playgroup runs Monday-Friday from 9.15 - 11.45 am, term time, and is open to 3 year olds and over.

Mums and other carers with pre-playgroup toddlers are invited to meet at the Church every Wednesday from 10:45am until 12.00 noon, during term time. There is a drink and biscuit in the Coffee Lounge first, then a sing-song, and then lots of toys and a large play area provided in the Hall and plenty of opportunity to chat.
